Paul Butler Associates managed the planning process from pre-application through to determination with the application being determined within a 13 week period. During the pre-application stage, PBA arranged and hosted the public consultation and led pre-application discussions with the local planning authority.To support the application, PBA produced a comprehensive set of planning documents including a Planning Statement, Town Centre Statement and Heritage Assessment. The robust reporting and effective management of the planning application allowed the application to be determined within a 13 week period. The practice worked closely with the client and key figures at Trafford Council including the Head of Planning and Head of Major Projects to secure planning permission for this major sporting venue. PBA also acted as the lead in the Section 106 Negotiations to resolve a complex legal agreement in a timely manner
