A series of heritage reports were prepared by Paul Butler Associates Ltd on behalf of Stephenson Studio. The first statement was provided in support of an application for Listed Building Consent relating to the Express Building One at George Leigh Street in Ancoats. This supported a proposal was for the refurbishment of the facades of the building including works to the curtain walling and window systems. These works were undertaken in advance of a proposed refurbishment of the building for commercial use. The practice subsequently provided a second Heritage Statement to support a Listed Building application for an extensive strip out and refurbishment proposal. Further work was undertaken to support condition discharge applications.
