Paul Butler Associates were pleased to provide planning and heritage advice on this project which involved the refurbishment and upgrading of a 1960s office building. The scheme involved replacing the existing windows and spandrel panels and the installation of a new M+E system to improve the energy performance of the building. The entrance to the building was enhanced with a ramped access being provided whilst an artwork muralwas proposed to a large blank elevation of the building. Paul Butler Associates acted as agent on the project and prepared the Planning and Heritage Statement in support of the proposal which considered the relationship of the scheme with nearby listed buildings and the George Street Conservation Area. The Practice also progressedcondition discharge applications and an advertisement consent application fornewbuilding signage.
