Paul Butler Associates advised on a proposed LED screen at the Parkway Business Centre on Princess Road. Due to the size of the screen, its internal illuminance and transition between adverts, a series of planning issues required consideration.The practice were involved in pre-application discussions with Manchester City Council on the principle of the proposals; liaising with consultants on the information required in support of the application; and, the preparation of a planning statement which assessedthe proposals against the key planning issues, primarily impact on amenity and effect on public safety. The application was approved via delegated powers.
