Paul Butler Associates Ltd provided planning and heritage consultancy services on the project which involved undertaking an initial feasibility study to inform the client’s development strategy, pre-application consultation with Salford City
Council and local residents about the scheme. An assessment of the scheme’s planning, heritage and regeneration benefits was provided within a Planning and Heritage Statement which formed part of the planning application. A Statement of Community Involvement was also produced.
The application was approved in December 2015.
